Trudy's most recent project Take Five celebrates the songs and sounds of alto saxophonist Paul Desmond, focusing on repertoire Desmond performed with Dave Brubeck, as well as Paul’s work in other settings.

The west coast jazz sound is something Trudy has recorded and explored in the past with her critically acclaimed album Remembering Chet Baker.
